KTA

The Knowledge Transfer Academy (KTA) at Smart and Scientific Solutions (SSS) is run by the R&D team of SSS. Its flagship project is the training diploma in Applied Mathematics which is focused on students and professionals who wishes to prepare themselves for the demands of the local industry. It is a four-month intensive full time training program with a specific focus on Programming in MATLAB, Digital image processing, Advanced Biomathematics and a Research Project. English Language Course

If you are looking to improve your English language speaking, writing, and listening skills then this is the course for you.

 

Course start date: Feb 07, 2022, June 05, 2022, October 03, 2022

 

Application deadline: At least eight (8) weeks before the course start date

 

Duration: 2 months (intensive), 4 months (Relaxed)

 

Mode of teaching: Face to face

 

This course is aimed at learners who wishes to polish their English language writing, listening and reading skills. After the completion of this course, you should be able to attempt IELTS for a score of 6.5 and above.

The English Language program offered by KTA at Smart and Scientific Solutions is unique in many ways, for example:

The method of our teaching is unique to everyone and will involve training and interaction with Native speakers of English language.

It is a class room-based learning program which is intensive and will require full commitment.

There will be no more than 10 students in each class.

A mentor will be assigned to each student for the duration of the course.

Free booster session will be offered to students if recommended by their mentor.

Optional trips to various places in Scotland and England will be organized to keep the students motivated and improve their social interaction skill.

Training Diploma in Applied Mathematics

The world is slowly realizing that traditional degrees are taking too long to complete and are not producing the workforce required by the industry especially mathematics and physics. Therefore, to fill this gap we offer a diploma in mathematics/biomathematics which will give a career path to mathematics and physics students.

Course start date: March 01, 2022, May 02, 2022, and Sep 05, 2022

Duration: 4 months (intensive, Full Time)

Mode of teaching: Face to face

This is a unique and nontraditional diploma in Mathematics which is run by the R&D division of SSS. The delivery of courses will be conducted and supervised by the staff directly involved in R&D at SSS.

  • Advanced Engineering Mathematics
  • Digital image processing
  • Digital signal processing
  • Advanced Biomathematics
  • Research Project

 

Suitability of Candidates: You will ideally have an undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Physics, or an engineering subject and will have good knowledge of differential calculus. If we feel that there is a lack of background knowledge then a free refresher course will be offered to suitable candidates.

Fees: 

The total tuition fees are £4000. This does not include accommodation or travel expenses.

Scholarship: There are a limited number of scholarships available for deserving students. You will receive a discount of 10% if the early payment date is met

Data Analysis

Data analytics is at the forefront of decision making in every business. This course will enable you to:

  • Acquire practical knowledge of various tools used in data analysis.
  • How to tackle business problems in light of the available data.
  • Find analytics-driven solutions to business problems.
  • Be able to collect, clean, and describe the data you have,

Course start date: March 15, 2022, May 17, 2022, and Sep 19, 2022

Visa

To apply for admission to the Knowledge transfer academy in one of the courses, please complete the application form and include a short resume. A member of the admission team will then follow up with your application and guide you through the rest of the process.

 

Support Letters for Visa Applications

o Once your registration is completed and you are accepted for one of the courses you will then need to pay at least 50% of the admission fees.  Once the fee is paid, if required a visa support letter will be issued and emailed to the address used during registration.

o It is imperative that the visa letters will be issued only after 50% of the fees are paid.

o We re-affirm that the support letter is only explaining your purpose of visit and pursuit of visa, it is not a document to secure your visa to the United Kingdom of Great Britain.

o  Please note, the visa applied for will be a 6-month visit visa.

Support letters for the visa will be issued after complete registration and emailed as PDF. You are requested to contact the admission management team at admissions@ssstechs.com and  provide the following details in your e-mail:

o Your name as on the Passport.

o Passport Copy, expiring no less than 6 months before the course start date.

o Name of the course you are attending.

o Proof of payment of fees (minimum 50%).
